Here’s How TurboTax Has Changed Its Tax-Filing Software for 2024

LLC members who don’t take an active role in the business typically don’t pay self-employment tax on profits the company passes through to them, only if they receive compensation for any services they provide to the LLC. Upon expiration of your subscription or cancellation of your account, or
Intuit’s termination of your account or this Agreement, you must immediately
stop using the Platform and pay all fees for Platform used. No expiration or
termination will affect your obligation to pay all fees due or that may have
accrued through the effective date of expiration or termination or entitle
you to any refund. You may input information and other Content into AI Technology in connection
with your use of the Platform (“Inputs”) and receive outputs generated
and/or provided from the AI Technology based on those Inputs (“Outputs”).

However, alerts may include your Login ID and some information about your accounts. Depending upon which alerts you select, information such as an account balance or the due date for your credit card payment may be included. Anyone with access to your email will be able to view the content of these alerts.

  1. For
clarity, Intuit is not responsible for any payment processing errors or fees
arising from inaccurate account information provided by third parties.
  2. You represent that you are a legal owner of, and that you are authorized to provide us with, all Registration and Account Information and other information necessary to facilitate your use of the Services.
  3. When you sign up for (or renew your membership in) TurboTax Advantage, you elect to receive your selected TurboTax product automatically each year in early November (timing varies by release date and your location) until or unless you change or cancel your enrollment.
  4. This functionality is
limited to those forms or items that the Services can read.
  5. You must review and comply with
the third party’s service terms and product provisions.
  6. The Platform may also include information about (or offers for) third-party
services or products or allow you to connect your account to or otherwise
    access third-party services or products.

Intuit may be
compensated by those third parties, which could impact whether, how and
where the services and products are displayed. With respect to the applicable Software, you are only granted limited rights
to install and use the Software you have lawfully downloaded, signed up for,
or for which you have purchased a valid license or acquired a free trial. Intuit reserves all other rights in the applicable Software not granted to
you in writing in this Agreement.

The award shall be binding only among the parties and shall have no
preclusive effect in any other arbitration or other proceeding involving a
different party. Judgment on
any award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. This agreement
to arbitrate shall not preclude any party to the arbitration from at any
time seeking injunctions or other forms of equitable relief in aid of
arbitration from a court of appropriate jurisdiction including whether a
Demand for Arbitration is filed in violation of this Agreement. If you wish to make purchases through the Site, you may be asked by the
merchant or information or service provider from whom you are making the
purchase to supply certain information, including credit card or other
payment mechanism information. You agree not to hold Intuit liable for any
loss or damage of any sort incurred as a result of any such dealings with
any merchant or information or service provider through the Site.

set their own prices and may change prices or institute new prices at any
time. You agree to pay all charges incurred by users of your account and
credit card or other payment mechanism at the prices in effect when such
charges are incurred. You also will be responsible for paying any

Although we will not be liable for losses caused by any unauthorized use of
your telephone, you may be liable for our losses due to such unauthorized
use. You may not use the Services to prepare tax

(i.e., for a preparer’s or other fee or consideration). California law and the Federal Arbitration Act will govern all disputes
arising out of or relating to the Platform, this Agreement and any
Additional turbotax terms of service Terms, regardless of conflict of laws rules. Either you or Intuit can seek to have a Claim resolved in small claims court
if all the requirements of the small claims court are satisfied. Either you

If Intuit believes that any Claim you have filed in arbitration
or in court is inconsistent with the limitations in this paragraph, then you
agree that Intuit may seek an order from a court determining whether your
Claim is within the scope of the Class Action Waiver. If this Class Action
Waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this Disputes
Section shall be null and void. When you direct Intuit to retrieve your account information from third

submit through the Platform (such as usernames and passwords) for purposes
of providing the Platform and Services to you.

Due to the evolving nature of AI Technology, Outputs may not be unique, and
you may have limited rights in them. Inputs or Outputs may be accessed,

If you do not complete your Tax Year 2023 return
prior to October 15, 2024, your tax return information will be deleted from

not Assisted), your tax expert will only sign and file your return if they
believe it is 100% correct based on the information you provide and that you

You agree you are responsible for the overall accuracy of the data in your
final tax return(s). Arbitration uses a
neutral arbitrator instead of a judge or jury, may allow for more limited

each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class
action. This arbitration provision shall survive termination of this
Agreement and/or the termination of your account. You agree that Intuit may combine information you provide or that is generated about you as part of the Services in anonymous or aggregate form with anonymous or aggregate information about other users of the Services and/or other Intuit services.
